This year the retreat of the PhD Program Cell Migration took place in the Hostellerie at the Schwarzsee from October 5th to 6th 2023.
The Junior Keynote speech was given by Julia Gutjahr, Junior Group Leader at the Biotechnology Institute Thurgau, on “Intracellular and nuclear CXCR4 signaling promotes erythroblast enucleation but not migration”. The Senior Keynote speech was given by Katrine Qvortrup, Associate Professor at the Technical University Denmark, Kongens Lyngby on “Chemokine receptor activation – Progress towards novel therapeutic principles“.
All students enrolled in the program actively participated with talks and flash talks on their PhD projects. In the final quiz of the retreat all students could test what they remembered from the presentations.
As every year prizes were awarded.
