This year the retreat of the PhD Program Cell Migration took place at the Hotel Suisse in Champéry (CH) from October 30th to 31st 2024.
The Keynote Lectures were held by :
- Prof. Dr. med. Florian Gärtner, Professor at LMU Munich (Germany), on "Cell motility of the megakaryocyte-platelet lineage"
- Prof. Dr. Charlotte Aumeier, Associate Professor at the Biochemistry Department, University of Geneva (Switzerland), on "Role of the microtubule cytoskeleton for cell polarisation. Chemokine receptor activation – Progress towards novel therapeutic principles".
As every year prizes were awarded.
- The winner of the quiz is Kamile Chahine from the laboratory of Prof. Santiago F. González
- The winner “best talk” is Chiara Pizzichetti from the laboratory of Prof. Santiago F. González
- The winner “best science flash” is Constant Tellinga from the laboratory of Prof. Christoph Scheiermann
